About Me

Scott Bigler is a prospective film and media composer who is currently studying composition at the University of Utah. Since he was young, Scott has always loved and adored the scores of iconic video game composers such as Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu, and Shigesato Itoi. He is also fond of film composers such as John Williams and Danny Elfman.

Sensitive at heart, Scott has always felt and admired the way music adds richness and emotion to the score of a film or a video game, and wishes to explore these emotional landscapes in his own music. Guided by tradition, Scott deeply admires the old composers of the past, such as Frederic Chopin and Johann Sebastian Bach, both for their emotive expressiveness and concise sense of form.

From these experiences, writing music grew to be a passion along the lines of a life calling, with Scott feeling compelled to write music due to a deeply felt conviction that art is of a divine origin, and is used to manifest beauty in the world. Knowing this, it is with great pleasure that Scott wishes to open up his world to you.
